About Me
My name is Murray Groat and I am an illustrator and graphic designer. I grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland and was trained in several fields of art and design. Some of my skills were self taught in my own time.
I have studied public relations and communication, art and design and specialized in scientific and technical graphics, earning an HND. I have also worked in photography, graphic design, design for newsprint and illustration.
I am currently not working full-time and spend my time experimenting with different drawing techniques. My inspiration comes from the world around me and my creative imagination. Art is fun!
